19 Oct 2017. When you have holidays, do you prefer to travel somewhere or just stay at home and relax? Usually when I take annual leave from work, it’s for an international holiday. They’re a lot of fun and I never regret the experience, but I do sometimes wish that I could take a couple of weeks to just do absolutely nothing. Like now, when it's been raining for a week and I want to take endless naps. To read and write and not worry about chores or feel guilty about something else I should be organising would be absolute heaven. While most votes in Australia are mandatory, this one isn’t, and a lot of people are choosing not to vote at all because they think the method is ridiculous.‬ ‪ ‬ ‪That’s because, even if there’s overwhelming support for the change, there’s no guarantee that it will be passed through parliament.‬ ‪ ‬ ‪Yes, it’s stupid. Yes, it’s irritating.‬ ‪ ‬ ‪But I would rather go through something stupid and irritating to give others a shot at a happier life than sit back and pretend that five seconds of my time is worth more than someone’s entire future.‬ ‪ ‬ ‪Aussies, get your votes in before November 7. I started this book in spring but I had so many books to read that I stopped reading this one. I don't why, because it is so amazingly writen.
