15 things that make me happy
timelockdoctor tagged me, and I took a loooong time to do it.
1. A good book. There's just something about it.
2. Going to Cons and places where there are people who share my interests.
3. Working with my hands. Creating something.
4. Running at night.
5. The moment where I understand something said in a different language. Even if it's a language I've studied for years, or one I just started to practice.
6. Days where I feel comfortable in my own body.
7. Old/vintage/antique things. Usually pieces of technology. Typewritters, pocketwatches.
8. Being alone out in nature.
9. Learning about a new culture, preferably by being immersed in it.
10. Children. My babybutt, my brothers, my niece and nephew.
11. A certain person. Aus.
12. Imagining a different future.
13. Body modifications. Dying my hair, getting piercings, I want a tattoo.
14. Making someone smile.
15. The moment of understanding something new. A math concept, a piece of computer code, a new prefix or something.

Alright guys, I got tagged by arttiger, so I've gotta say 5 nice things about myself.
1. I think my hazel eyes are pretty, and I like it when they look more green-ish, so I try to wear green clothing.
2. I'm a loyal friend and I look out for the people that I love.
3. I am a strong, independent woman; I stick up for myself, and I'm not afraid to protect myself from harmful people.
4. I have "sisu", which is a Finnish word which means a lot of things, but in particular it means spunk, audacity, and perseverance. I can overcome obstacles in my path by using my sisu.
5. I am human, and I make mistakes, but I learn from them. That is not only something I love about myself, it's something I love about all human beings. We are imperfect, but then we learn and we grow, ever changing and evolving.
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Sherlock AU 1950s Genderswap (femslash)
I haven't finished it, but a couple people asked for the link, so I'm sharing.
This is really just for bookloverfio since tumblr doesn't like links in asks. Normally I wouldn't post this publicly. ~slinks away~
Smutty Johnlock fic recs: (So, in honesty I read unreasonable quantities of one-shots, and there are just too many for me to sort through which are good or bad or amazing, so I'll leave you to mostly find those one your own. If you want I'll send you my preferred search settings and you can choose your own kinks, instead of having mine inflicted on you.)
Performance in a Leading Role (AU. Fandom classic. I find it to be a lot of meta silliness, but, once you hit about chapter 8, well interspersed with fun sex scenes)
A Cure for Bordom (Fandom Classic. Frequently regarded and the porniest, kinkiest fic in the fandom. I think that claim may be debated, but there's still lots of porny goodness.)
The Whore of Babylon was a Perfectly Nice Girl (I can never really remember what this one is about, but I've read it twice.)
Lacuna (thinky and feelsy, also comes with a DVD Commentary from the author)
Great Sex Olympics of 221B (Crack. Crack as an excuse for porn.)
A Life Well-Lived (Many emotions, also one of my favorites)
L'Instinct Suffit (PWP with french. Same author as the one immediately above. Everything I've read by Kate_Lear I've liked, and the rest is on my to-read list.)
My Phone's on Vibrate for You (I expected this to be really cracky and then there were emotions and it was beautiful)
Trying to Find the In-Between (series) (I liked the earlier installments better. Later it get very arc-y and less smutty, but much emotions the whole way through.)
365 Days of 221Bs(series) (Not all smutty, lots of fluff, very numerous and bite-sized)
Keep Each Other Company (Threesomes!)
A Study in Shagging (series) (Starts mildly cracky and ends with many emotions, but happily.)
You're Still You (wings AND tentacles! have not read the sequel)
Control 'verse (series) (Venting via D/s play. Surprisingly fluffy, given the scenario)
Two Two One Bravo Baker (Another fandom classic. AU case-fic, but the plot was so complicated that the only real mystery for me was if they were ever going to find some proper lube. Much porn.)
The Syntax of Things (Many emotions. Possibly my favorite fic ever.)
Sherlock's Laboratory (series) (Threesomes and tentacles)
Flash Bang (I don't know if I've ever seen this much porn be so sweet before)
Sweet Thing (Random bonus fluff as in, not porn. I'm sorry.)
Crossdressing (By which I, in this case, mean corsetry)
How is it You're Still Breathing?
Corset
Dear Heart (I Beat for You)
Silk Stocking, High Heels
Suit!porn (In this fandom, at least, is deserves it's own category)
Bad Dogs Last Longer (also knife-play)
Dress Sense
Fa Subito
Balls-Deep in the Corner Pocket
OT3: John/Sherlock/Violin (not actually my OT3, but someone's)
Solo per Due
A Serenade for the Storm
Stringplay
There is also one that I CANNOT FIND (it's making me crazy). All I remember is that John and Sherlock discuss how the perfect heart of Sherlock's lips would look wrapped around John's cock. So if you find that one, let me know. Or it might be in the list above already and I missed it because I haven't reread each one.
Either way, this should keep you busy for a bit.
HI CLAIR HI FIONA
So I have this friend
and she's really cool. We're going to watch Pitch Perfect in a few minutes and I'm really pumped. Also, she wrote a poem about me. Life is great.
