sigh but no I am SHOCKED by some of the things that have happened here I feel like we’ve regressed to middle school in terms of sensitivity today I heard someone use the word “retarded” and everyone uses the term “bitch” in an unreclaimed way as in- bitching, she’s such a bitch, I don’t wanna be a bitch... and Im just like what the fuck these are people who call themselves feminists but then turn around and say they hate other women???? (like literally quote “I hate women” and like this guy said that his boss was being such a bitch for telling him to clean the dishes like what...?) and I went to a karaoke bar and there was not one black kid there yet white boys are shoutin out the n word in raps.

Madrid

I got two asks with Madrid. One from you and one from an anon. So let’s see my aesthetic. I love bright colors. Colors that pop have a way of cheering me up no matter what’s going on in my life. Coral, teal, lime green, and pink. I wear bright clothing and my apartment is decorated with happy poppy colors. (An example of this is that my car is magenta colored.)

Black: Name a series that’s tough to get into but has hardcore fans. Any huge fantasy series, to be honest. Some of the less well known series definitely have the fiercest fans because we literally just want everyone to love the books as much as we do.

Peppermint mocha: Name a book that gets more popular during the winter or a festive time of year. Uhmmm, damn. Like Becki said, a lot of people were reading My True Love Gave To Me, but I haven’t noticed anything else in particular.

Hot chocolate: What is your favorite children’s book? The Jolly Postman was one of my favourite books growing up. The pull-out letters were brilliant, and I loved the cast of characters.

Double shot of espresso: Name a book that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. From this year, it’s a toss up between Cape Fear by John D. MacDonald and Smart by Kim Slater.

Starbucks: Name a book you see everywhere. I’m seeing a lot of Harry Potter at the moment because of the new covers.

That hipster coffee shop: Give a book by an indie author a shout-out. I don’t think I know any indie authors.....

Oops! I accidentally got decaf: Name a book you were expecting more from. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I liked it, but it just didn’t keep me enthralled as much as I hoped it would.

The perfect blend: Name a book or series that was both bitter and sweet but ultimately satisfying. The Shifter series by Rachel Vincent. It was such a rollercoaster ride (mY BABY) that by the end of it I was both happy and sad that it had finished.

That's interesting indeed! What's your favorite taste? :) I like a lot of foods that other people find weird but then I realized that it's just because they're not typically American foods, such as aloe vera juice. Aloe vera juice is life haha!
