Yesterday's Bonfire Night and Beginning Of Birthday Week Celebrations 🎉 outfit 😁 So due to my stays in hospital recently, I had a little extra cash to splash, and decided to buy myself some birthday presents 🎁 I bought a t shirt, necklace, bracelet and journal... this is my new t shirt, courtesy of Etsy, and I love it ! The quote is from one of my favourite book series, #thelunarchronicles 🌟🌙 those books got me through a very dark and difficult time... I think the reason they're one of my favourite series is that they portray characters who are all Different, who don't fit in with most of society, but who find acceptance with each other. They are the perfect example of "friends are the family you choose". And I think the stories tell you that it's possible to suffer, and survive; in fact, to thrive. And they remind you that whilst what you do with your life is definitely important, who you do it with is more important. The quote on this gorgeous shirt, "broken isn't the same as unfixable" was, and still is, my mantra regarding my most recent relapse. "Broken isn't the same as unfixable" I say to myself when I can't stand without crutches. I say it when I fall, because right now my good leg is in fact my bad leg. I say it when I'm waiting to see my psychologist for the weekly appointments I've had to restart. And it helps... so I figure having such a powerful message on a t shirt will be even more helpful on Bad Days 😁👍🏻!
