A: How did you come up with the title to [insert fic]?

to be honest, i think i literally just looked through my list of titles i like and thought it sounded good and went with it skjdfdf however, i think i was obsessed with the iron & wine cover at one point so that’s why it was in the list. but once i looked into the lyrics and seeing how it’s about two people who are perfect for one another and notice the small things about one another, it made a lot more sense of why it was perfectly fitting for the fic.

saturday: what gets you excited whilst writing?

delving into a whole new world (and now i have the song stuck in my head omg) that i have created and bringing these stories and characters to life! it sounds so cheesy, but the actual creative process of developing characters and plot points is my favourite part. i am full of ideas that i just want to put to paper! ....and then never do.

november: do you have any rituals or requirements for getting in the mood for writing?

hmm. not really? i think it depends on my mood and what i’m writing, but i usually write most at night and then sometimes with a playlist or album in the background. in particular, i’ve been loving this lofi playlist lately!

forever: do you balance fic writing with original concept stuff?

i try to! i’ve been very back and forth with my original stories the last couple of years, but i just need to Settle on the one thing and find out why it isn’t working once and for all! my gal [redacted] needs her story to be told as much as my fics need to be written!

this is where i think my head’s at too! i’ve got two quite planned out and bits and pieces written original stories that i keep going back and forth to buuuuut the hating game is the real mvp and everything i wanna be as a writer so that’s probably the best option

you honestly have been one of my fav mutuals on this site. i used to be so intimidated by you because you’re so kind and cool that how could i ever be friends with you!! but, now i get to call you one and ahhh!! that’s such a nice thought because you’re just really such a warm person to interact with. i dunno if you notice it, but even in our limited interactions, you make the day a little brighter!! you really are just as your url says, ya know?? remind me of cozy days in a cafe with a hot drink, a good book, a thick sweater, and the sound of rain. plus, you make me laugh and you’re so unapologetically yourself that it truly just makes me so happy and grateful that i get to be friends with someone as great as you!
