📚 What’s a popular book that you totally meant to read, but still haven’t?? . . . Happy Wednesday, Bookworms! Do you ever buy a book that you REALLY wanted to read, then never end up reading it?? (PLEASE tell me that it’s not just me that does this. 🙈) I do this all the time, and it really makes me crazy. I will be SO excited for a book, and then once I get it in my hands, I completely loose interest. (Most of the time, sometimes I just forget about it. 😅) Pictured above are just a few books that I totally meant to read, but haven’t yet, for some reason or another. 🙈 In all fairness though, I did start *City of Brass*, but then had to set it aside when my mom go hurt. I've got some new digital ARCs loaded up on my Kindle that I want to tackle, but otherwise I'm gonna mood read, and maybe some of the books in this stack will make the cut. . . The *Priory of the Orange Tree* is taking me a while to get through, but I am purposely going through it chapter by chapter to try to enjoy it. And I am enjoying it very much so far! 📚 What’s your current favorite genre to read?? . . . Happy Monday, Bookworms! Are you ready for this brand new week? I hope that you are. 🥰 My week is already off to a weird start. The power in our neighborhood went out yesterday evening and *just* come back on a little while ago. 🙄 I am very glad to have power and air conditioning again, but I am not looking forward to having to clean out the fridge and go grocery shopping AGAIN. 😆 Here’s hoping for a good week for us all, and LOTS of coffee for those of us who are running on very little sleep. (That would be me. 😄) . . . Are there any particular book genres that you absolutely LOVE lately? For me, it is definitely rom-coms and beach reads. 📚 Qotd: Hardcovers or Paperbacks?? . . . Happy Sunday, fellow Bookworms. Did you have a good weekend? Is anyone else NOT ready for the weekend to end. (I so am not.) 🥰 . . . Which do you prefer: Hardcovers or Paperbacks? I was looking at all the stacks and stacks (and stacks) of books that I have all over my house that I don’t have room for on my shelves, and I noticed that I’m buying a lot more paperbacks lately, which is interesting. I love hardcovers, mostly because they look pretty sitting on my shelves, but there’s just something special about a floppy paperback. They are so much easier to hold, and I love that they are a little less expensive as well. 🥰 Now if we could just talk publishers into releasing paperback editions of new books at the same time as hardcovers... (Like that’s going to happen. 😂) Which do you prefer? Q: How are you doing with your reading goal for the year? (Goodreads or other.) . . . Happy Tuesday, Bookworms! Are you doing a reading challenge this year? (Goodreads or other.) If so, how are you doing with it? I set my yearly goal to 150, and I’m currently about 35 books behind... so.... I’m not doing very well. 😅 (In all fairness, things have been crazy this year.) At this rate I would have to read 4-5 books a week in order to catch up, but I think if I buckle down and actually, you know, start reading, I may still be able to read my goal. What’s a book, (or book series), that you love that has multiple authors? . . . It’s Tuesday! Is your week off to a good start? I hope that it is. 🥰 . . . Are there any books, or book series, that you love that were written by multipe authors? The first one that came to mine for me was the *Illuminae Files* by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. 🤓 This series was so good, and the audiobooks were FANTASTIC. (Seriously, they are some of my favorites. If you have the opportunity to listen, I highly recommend them.) 🤓 I also love the *Starbound* series, which Amie also co-wrote with Meagan Spooner. (That series is also great as well. Check it out!) 🥰 What about you guys?
