the thing that got me in all the bright places is that finch didn't stay for violet, especially after KNOWING what she'd gone through after losing eleanor. but then again, he was trying to fix himself for her, when he should've been fixing himself for himself . . . so in a completely different perspective, it just shows that the sadness still got him, and she couldn't do a thing about it. and i guess that's why, likewise, YOU are the most important thing for yourself. not others. no matter how much they love you, they can't save you . . . only you can do that.

My Thoughts: 

Let me begin by saying this book was a WILD RIDE of emotions! If you like mystery/thriller novels that keep you guessing at every turn - this book is meant for you!!

Aimee’s husband, Ben, has gone missing. He’s left all of his belongings, including his car, inside their home. She contacts the police to find her husband, only to learn there has been $10,000 taken out of her bank account. She quickly assumes it was Ben, but detectives say it was her who withdrew the money. All signs point to something incredibly bad.

As the novel combines two stories into one, we also learn of Aimee’s childhood before and after she ran away from home. 

Alice Feeney does an incredible job weaving the two together to make for a seamless story line that will have you second guessing every other page. The book immediately resonated with me as fast as I approached the second chapter. I could not put it down. The side characters seem unreliable, the narrator seems unreliable, who are you trust? You will not know until the final pages of the book! 

I have recommended this book to my friends and family. It is a magnificent and quick read. If you love the mystery genre and second-guessing, you will not regret this read!

New Feature on my Website!

Hi Guys!

I'm super excited to share with you that I now have a new page on my Wordpress blog called, The Authors' Shelf!

What is The Authors' Shelf one may ask? Well, one will be pleased to know that it is a page dedicated to smol interviews with, yep, you guessed it, authors!

I know. Super exciting right? I wanted a way to be able to connect author to audience, especially as my project is to increase reading on a world domination scale (long term of course, I can't afford to give away that many books yet). Mwah hah hah. Anyways, it's super cool, and I wanted to share this with you guys. The first interview will be up in the next couple of weeks! :)

On another note, I have 200 followers on Instagram! I know that's not a lot, but I love the support that I'm receiving so far for this blog and project. Thanks for being awesome guys.
