Other morning errand was stopping at the grand opening of a local independent bookstore. Got 10% off for being one of the first 50 customers! Bought a few books and a few goodies: an awesome tote bag and a pin and fun pen. Also met a birb!

I made a display of Star Trek books in my store (because someone had to) and this little boy picked up a book that had the Original Series trio on the cover, Kirk, Spock, and McCoy. He held up the book to ask his mom what it was, all she said was "That's Star Trek." And she moved on. The little boy stared at it for a minute and said, "That's an elf!"
gggggh i don't want to sell via poshmark or any of that i just want to sell via MY website why is that so hard?! other bookstores that are online only get business without having stupid FREEBIES or whatever. did they just do that via ads or what
ooh i might be able to be a part of bookfest 2026!
oh no it costs money and A LOT. nvm
i was thinking of doing a sale at my store this month but it never does anything so i don't see a point
so many books in my store inventory now
why do the colours on my website keep vanishing
i'm so sad there's literally no chance anymore of me meeting my goal for my bookstore this year.
i mean really i just want to make at least as much as i did last year
