Would you prefer a character to be written accurately, or is preserving the things that happened the way they happened more important?

Is a character being out of character permissible if continuity is respected?

Is it better to have a character feel like the character at the expense of breaking continuity and contradicting established history?

Yes, both are important, both ideally should be respected at all times, but this is a situation where you have to prioritize one.

I'm 4 out of 10 issues into the Wynd series and IT'S SO CUTE. Literally love all the characters, love the story, love the world building, love the art, love EVERYTHING about it. So far I definitely recommend it
