This one very nearly killed me, it was deceptively difficult. Not to mention this absolutely beautiful fabric was a pain in the butt to work with. In Toy Story 4, #littlebopeep is not so fragile anymore. She developed into a strong, independent lead character to which every little girl can relate and look up to. Full disclosure: cosplayers are human too! Sometimes we screw up! I spent so much time in the lead-up to Fan Expo working on Astrid that I kept neglecting Bo. “I’ll have time,” I said. “It’s just sewing, and I’m good at that.” I didn’t try this whole costume on until the morning of the day I was supposed to wear it, and to my surprise it didn’t fit right at all. I was annoyed and flustered and a little embarrassed at how unflattering I found the jumpsuit to be. . . . But I wore it! I had an amazing time with my Duke Caboom @toronto_dadpool! It was a wonderful way to start my Fan Expo weekend. And you can bet your butt that I’ll try again. Because that’s what we do! We learn, we recover, we fail... and then we fix. Bo V2 will happen, with a better painted wig and a better fitting jumpsuit and with her crook, her cape, and maybe even her lambs. . . . Because that’s what we do. . . .
