CYBER - Borða (Eat) - transcript/translation
I’ve gotten a few requests to transcribe and translate some CYBER songs from an anon (or multiple anons), and now with CYBER touring with Hatari and all, this is a good time to actually be doing them! Here is “Borða” (Eat), the first song on their 2017 album HORROR.
Be warned that the lyrics, though cryptic, contain disturbing themes involving murder, drug addiction and cannibalism/vampirism. “Hlauptu” is probably about their usual level of creepy.

Translation notes
The bits about “finishing him” and “you’ll never manage to finish me” are using the word “klára”, which is what you’d use for finishing your food - it does not have the euphemistic connotation of just killing somebody that “finish” does in English.
It’s ambiguous in the Icelandic lyrics whether “Fá mér alltaf fyrst og gleyma að ég sé hér að gera þetta og horfa með þér“ means “Take my share first and forget I’m here doing this and watching with you”, as in I forget that I’m (doing this and watching with you), or “Take my share first and forget I’m here doing this and watch with you”, as in I (forget that I’m doing this) and (watch with you).
