Don’t be so quick to take on a holier than thou attitude when you finally stop making so many stupid mistakes, and come to a place of peace and self realization. Some people’s journey takes longer than others, and there are a few who will never learn who they are and what “could have been” 🤷🏾♀️ That doesn’t give any of us a right to turn up our noses as if we never needed someone to encourage us through our mess. We’re human so there will always be something to conquer because that’s what gets us to the next level. I’m always willing to share my story because I wish that in my 20’s I would’ve had someone who made as many mistakes as I did and overcame them, to counsel me so that I could’ve started living my truth sooner than 34! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Was I a teen mom? ✅ Was I involved in friendships/relationships I had no business being in? ✅ Did I have a horrible attitude and a mouth like a sailor? ✅ Did I rush into a marriage thinking it would fix issues that only God and myself could fix? ✅ Did I then stay in that marriage for 9 years too long as I lost my identity more and more? ✅ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve made mistakes but they don’t hold me prisoner. There’s freedom when you own up to your mistakes and choose to change your direction. Don’t give up.
