I don't hate a lot of the decisions in Boruto... I just wish that they would commit to them.
Because your showing me two children, Sadara and Boruto, who see their father, and their frist instinct is to STAB THEM. Because what do you mean you gotta make sure this mans real and the only way is throguh violence? You either don't care if they die or know that they wont. That's fascinating.
Of course Naruto is a bad dad and even worse husband. Naruto married a woman a year after expirencing a war where he was the prime target. Obviously thats not a good idea. There's a million jokes about how getting married in the military is stupid. He was only 18, no shit it was a bad decision.
And of course Hinata doesn't push back agaisnt Naruto's treatment of their children, she idolized him his whole life. She also came from a household where her upbringing was a million times worse. She allows her self to be treated by her husband, the same way her father treated her, as a second option. She fundamentally doesn't understand romantic or familia love.
Honestly, having Sakura just in it for the bag, is my head cannon. But she got everything she wanted AND her husband respected her enough to not show his face ever. Sounds like a win-win.
But the reality is also just as intresting. A man she chased after her whole life, impregnated her and ditched for the first 13 years of their child's life. Which in their world a 13 year old is bassicly an adult. So its bassicly like showing up on their 18th birthday like, "I'd like to have a relationship with you."
They have zero photos together. So Sakura had to scrap together a photo of him when he was an Akatsuki member. And he was only an Akatsuki member for like 5 months. Like it would be less sad for her to just use their og team seven photo.
And all of this is fantastic ideas. But it feels like they didn't want to complicated the original cast, after already complicating them. So they pulled back on all of them.
