imo stabbing through karin to get to danzo is really the only Objectively Significantly Morally Wrong thing sasuke does in the entire series. which is why it’s one of my absolute favorite sasuke moments. this whooooole time he’s done whatever he can to spare every life and even pushed to the brink mad with grief only kills when he’s forced to & after giving out several warnings.

but when it comes down to it. when he has the chance he’s been waiting his whole life for and it feels like everything is already over. that innocent person he genuinely considered a good ally and went out of his way to help? or his revenge? it’s not even close he was always gonna take the shot <\3

I was such a Gaara fan girl way back when. No shame.

I think what I love so much about his story is how he went from this edgy traumatized dark guy too, just an older fella taking care of his flowers. Gaara gardening as kazekage is an image that makes me really happy. So I guess I'll have to draw that too.

Anyway, I wanted to try something a little different than my usual sparkly cute style. Unfortunately you can't see the sand very well on Instagram, but boy the full image is pretty cool. Very happy with this one.

Naruto and Sasuke in the hospital—!

I've seen a few takes on the eye-marriage obkk thing where the Uchiha tell Obito he must marry Kakashi. But really, the Uchiha and Konoha in general are set on maintaining a heteronormative society (tho it wouldn't be for long with Minato, Tsunade, Kakashi or Naruto as Hokage), which makes sense with the clan's focus on heirs and genetics, especially those with kekkei genkai.

So picture this: Obito, annoyed at the Uchiha pestering him about Kakashi's sharingan, escapes those conversations by basically breaking Fugaku's brain. Of course Obito is a dumbass and didn't check to see that he had indeed developed feelings for Kakashi and now has to actually try to convince Fugaku to let him marry him.

Minato always knew about Obito's plan but he also perfectly predicted that Obito would fall for Kakashi.

Kakashi meanwhile is blissfully unaware of all this.

Genin Sasuke was so pure before Itachi traumatized him again.

He was the one who understood Kakashi's message about teamwork when he fed Naruto even though Kakashi told them not to.

During the Land of Waves arc, when Naruto was out alone training, he went to check on him. Then when they both got to the top, Sasuke helps Naruto return back to Tazuna's place. He saved Naruto from falling off a tree and also saved him from the demon brothers

He sacrifices himself for Naruto during the Zabuza arc.Naruto had done nothing but annoy Sasuke to this point. Getting in his face in ep 3, ambushing him/pretending to be him, refusing to share Sakura's advice, being a liability in general but Sasuke still was willing to risk it all for his annoying orange teammate (esp when he wanted to avenge his clan, he was willing to risk that for Naruto,which is a pretty big deal seeing that this was like his main reason for living..)

He kept his curse-mark a secret from Naruto because he didn't want Naruto to worry about him (he tells Sakura not to tell Naruto about it). While fighting Yoroi, when his cursemark gets out of control, he gets it under control by thinking of Naruto+Sakura.

Sasuke tells Naruto how he's one of the people he wants to fight most, which made Naruto feel pretty happy and felt like Sasuke recognized him as a worthy opponent.

During the Gaara fight, Sasuke used his body to prevent Naruto from hitting a tree and then basically told Naruto to take Sakura and gave a speech of how he's willing to die for his comrades (again shafting his goal of revenge for Naruto/Sakura)

Even when Itachi came back, Sasuke was genuinely afraid for Naruto and wanted to protect him.

Karin knew of Naruto’s existence all the way back in Chunin Exam… like this guy is yelling out his name every 2.7 seconds + his large chakra pool (which is native to an Uzumaki).. she would notice immediately

The English translation is pretty self explanatory

But in the Japanese translation it is

“あれだろ！きゅび なか 九尾の仲間みたいな はもんで尾に生えた かたまりチャクラの塊が”

When you translate, it says

“It’s that thing, right? Like your Nine-Tails’ companion… A mass of chakra that grew from the tail(ed beast) became materialized”

It’s also the same in the French Translation

“These are those masses of chakra that take on the form of demons. Like the fox demon sealed inside your friend”

Here she refers to Naruto as Sasuke’s nine tail companion, note it’s not a sarcastic usage of companion or friend.

So you’re asking yourself, “how does this prove your theory?”

Well, Sasuke met Kurama for the first time in part 2, just a mere couple chapters ago. Note that he never knew about the 9 tails, only that Naruto had mysterious powers.

So with this in mind, three questions come up.

1. How does Karin even know about Naruto

2. How does Karin know Sasuke and Naruto are friends

3. How does Karin know Naruto has the nine tails

With question 1, the first on screen moment they met and shared was when Naruto was chasing them

Sasuke doesn’t explain to Team Taka anything regarding the person they just came across except that the person was named Naruto.

So how would she know about the relationship between Naruto and Sasuke? And just by this meeting alone, how did she know he had Kurama?

All the questions could be answered if she had met or seen Naruto in the Chunin exams. Or really if Sasuke had an offscreen moment and just explained everything to team taka… which i highly doubt
