The covey having a secret graveyard outside of district 12 in the forest is actually so special to me because they finally get to be free in death
snow’s narration: 😱😈🔪
katniss’ narration: 🦗🦗🦗
haymitch’s narration: 🗣️🗣️🗣️
President Snow's obsession with Katniss, being like "go on you lying liar, convince me you LOVE HIM because I know you don't. You don't! You don't love him and you're just pretending for personal gain you lying LIAR PANTS" is so much funnier after knowing his backstory.
Like, damn Corio, someone sure did a number on you, huh?
Katniss: I love Peeta
President Snow, watching from his office:
Snow had swam in the lake Katniss loved. Imagine how many times Katniss had swam in that lake with her loved ones and thought it was their own little secret, somewhere only for her. When all along she was swimming over the gun that snow that dropped in there after trying to kill one of her possible relatives.
Oh how to know a part of Snow still lingers in one of her most sacred places.
those of you who complain about the rebellion being present in sotr… do you really think that it can be planned in a year?
it was very blatantly present in tbosas (when the arena was bombed), pre-sotr (beetee's failed plan), in sotr (when haymitch tries to destroy the arena), throughout thg (mainly in katniss's inner monologue), somewhat present in catching fire and finally, in mockingjay.
that's 65 years of trial and error, alongside the terrible consequences (beetee being forced to mentor his own son and watch him die, haymitch's family burned alive, "accidents" in the mines, district 12 bombed until it was nothing but ashes)
a rebellion can't be planned in a year. it takes time, and it requires sacrifice.
The most devastating thing we found out in Sunrise on the Reaping which no one talks about enough was the fact that "The Old Therebefore" is a FUNERAL SONG.
When the Snakes were spiralling around Lucy Gray in the Areana, she was singing a FUNERAL SONG
She was singing for HER OWN FUNERAL
before disappearing from the history of panem lucy gray tells coriolanus snow that she is going to get katniss, and 64 years later katniss everdeen wins the hunger games and starts a revolution
when Katniss laid Rue down with flowers, do you think Snow thought of Sejanus sprinkling bread crumbs over Marcus's body?
