This is a prayer I wrote traveling through Thailand a few summers ago. . Pray it with me: . God/Angels/Universe (whatever you believe in)... . I ask you today to help me release all that no longer serve me. . Help me to remove every limiting thought/idea/habit/behavior/person that is not of my highest good. . Help me to know your greatness. Help me to know my own. . Help me to experience your vast and expansive love. Help me to spread this love everywhere I go. . Help me to trust when I'm afraid. And breath when I'm anxious. . Help me to rest in your arms and in your grace. . Give me the courage to recklessly pursue each and every desire for this life and work and love that you've placed on my heart . Give me the courage to believe in myself and share my gifts. . Help me to understand the ripple effect that being my best brings to the world. . I trust that with each person I help, a million more are helped as well. . Ignite in me a passion for others beyond my own understanding. . As I walk out of the Lima airport... . Someone shouts “Amanda!” . I turn to see a nice man standing with another man and Amanda Frances written on a sign. (Obviously my driver and transfer coordinator. In Peru they always send two people which I love.) . Me: Hi! How’d you know it was me?! . Man (decisively): I was looking for an American woman who is 32. . Me (with a funny look on my face): I look 32? . Him: No, younger. Much, much younger. . lol ^^ smart man . Sometimes I reply to emails/messages about “how we should hop on a call and connect/see how we could help each other” with: . “I don’t believe in networking.” . Because I don’t. I literally just choose to have/attract actual friends who are badasses... . ... who have no agenda besides friendship because duh. And then if we natural choose to partner on something, yay! . I can’t imagine starting a relationship/friendship/partnership that way. . Networking sounds hard, boring and like a waste of time... .
