Cassandra: Um, guys…

Jayden: Hm?

Cassandra: Kristy finished the Robo-Arm. And it's made for a left arm. And it's relatively small too, I think she might've used her own measurements.

Jayden: Oh… That's… convenient… I guess.

Cassandra: This is my fault.

Cameron: No, it's not.

Cassandra: But I told her she'd jinx it. I'm probably the one who jinxed it by pointing it out.

Jayden: Don't blame yourself for it, a lot of factors could've played a role. Let's wait and see how everything turns out. Right now we're working on a safety policy, apparently we didn't have one. Wanna help us?

Cassandra: Oh. Sure. Write down "No jinxing allowed".

Sunglo: Get ready for a brilliant idea... okay?

Tycho: Ready.

Sunglo: I think we should begin creating a... servo. I think we have what it takes. The end of freshman year is almost over and I wanna see if we can win the bot contest.

Tycho: Oh no can do, bud. I gotta stick to the small stuff, personally.

Sunglo: Oh don’t sell yourself short! You’ve nearly maxed your bot skill. Together we could do it.

Tycho: I’d love to, but I actually get pretty nervous working with larger bots. It’s not really skill related, but when I was younger I was working on a special bot project and got electrocuted. I survived it but it was a close call. 

Sunglo: Oh! I’m sorry. I understand.

Sunglo: Tell you what, how about instead of working on the big parts, you can construct all the small pieces and parts, and I’ll manage the rest?

Tycho: I think I can manage that. In return, would you join Erwin and I for a conspiracy club meeting?

Sunglo: It’s a deal! We should get to work, we’ll have quite a bit to do!

Jayden: Dude, really?

Julia: Try them out!

Chatterbot: My database is continuing to grow thanks to the conversations with you.

Beren: Alright, that's just a liiittle bit creepy…

Ava: NO PLAYING WITH ROBOTS INDOORS!

Beren: Alright, alright, I'm sorry!

Julia: Sorry, I should've warned you about the cafeteria staff. We can play with it outdoors instead if you want to.

Beren: I actually think it's time for me to leave, I have some stuff I need to do.

Julia: Since this is Beren's first meeting I thought we could teach him how to build chatterbots and quadcopters.

Beren: Chatterbots? They're not sentient, are they?

Julia: No, they're just toys!

Cameron: Haven't chatterbots come up in your lectures?

Beren: No, we haven't had anything about robotics yet, just mechanics and building circuit boards.

Julia: And that's exactly why I think chatterbots and quadcopters are a good start for you, they're mainly mechanics and circuit boards anyway.

Julia: You know, the thing you mentioned the other day, about someone flirting with you…

Julia: May I know who it was?

Beren: Kodex Simbot. Why?

Julia: Just curious...

Julia: So… Kodex isn't your type, huh?

Beren: No. Too pushy. Too quick at assuming things. They seem kinda annoying to be honest. But, you know, those aren't necessarily bad characteristics in a friend. I would never want a partner like that though.

Julia: So, what type of person would you be interested in then?

Beren: Doesn't matter right now, I'm not looking for a relationship.

Julia: You don't know what your type is? Or you just don't want to tell me?

Beren: I mean… It feels like you're prying.

Julia: Sorry, I'll stop.

Julia: I heard from Cameron what y'all talked about when I was buying drinks. We're often talking very openly about relationships and woohoo. I hope we won't scare you away.

Beren: No, no, it's fine. I'm just not very used to talking about those kinds of topics, but it's not like I'm against it.

Beren: I'm more worried about Cassandra though, she seemed so uncomfortable.

Julia: We usually don't talk about those kinds of stuff when Cassie is around, but I guess Cameron couldn't keep quiet.

Cameron: HEY! I HEARD THAT! ALICE STARTED IT!

Jayden: Chill dude. And I actually think I started it.

Jayden: See, they're even saying the same things at the same time. I think our deduction skills are spot on, Beren.

Alice: The only lovebirds here are you and Cameron.

Jayden: What? We're just best bros.

Alice: Yeah, right, "just best bros" soiling the showers together? Larry told me.

Jayden: That wasn't me and Cameron.

Cameron: Well… That might've been me and someone I don't even know the name of.

Jayden: You did it in the dorm showers? Ew, what the plum?

Cassandra: Could we change the subject?…

Beren: Yeah, I really don't wanna hear about people "soiling" things… But, why didn't you just use protection to not "soil" it?

Cassandra: Did you have to ask that!?

Cameron: Don't worry, we were using protection.

Beren: I just don't want TMI, okay?

Cameron: Wait, you're not into woohoo?

Beren: That's really not how it works. I just don't want to hear any details about other peoples' business.

Jayden: Yeah, don't be so prejudiced.

Cameron: Alright, alright, I'm sorry!

Cameron: So, Beren, you don't want to hear about others' woohoo-life, but what about yours?

Cameron: Care to share if you've ever woohooed?

Julia: Oh, hi!

Julia: You're on your way to the lecture?

Beren: Yeah, you too I presume.

Julia: Have you decided if you want to join Bot Savants?

Beren: Sure, I'd like to join.

Julia: Neat! We have meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, exhibitions on Sundays, bar nights on Mondays. Join in on the ones you have time for.

Beren: Okay, I'll tag along for the bar night tonight then.

Beren: Hey, by the way, can I have your number?

Julia: Hm?

Beren: Oh, you thought I meant-, no-no-no, imnotflirtingimnotevenintogirls!

Julia: Chill, I get it, you need it 'cause we're in the same organization. You did confuse me there for a sec though.

Beren: Sorry, so sorry.

Julia: Don't worry, I get it.

Beren: This reminded me of something that happened recently. Someone asked for my number but at first I didn't realise they were flirting with me. Long story short, I ended up hurting their feelings.

Julia: How did they take it?

Beren: Well… They cried, left, and I haven't heard from them since.

Beren: Not my smoothest moment, I probably could've handled it better.

Julia: Hey, I've seen worse. My ex cheated on me right in front of me.

Julia: But let's get going, the lecture is about to start. I'll give you my number during the break.
