Do you have any kind of opinion on the comic book version of the Arkham Knight, Astrid Arkham? What do you think a meeting between her and Arkhamverse!Jason would entail?

I wasn't terribly enthused about it, but that's my reaction to a lot of the stuff DC tries to sell me these days. Overhaul! Or enter public domain...

ANYWAYS, I did, interestingly enough, have a skeletal draft of exactly that, taking place after R(&B's P). I never could get it to be less clunky and weird, so I just left it in my files, but Jason wasn't too happy. The Squad was all, 'who's the impostor, why are they moving weird, WHY DO THEY HAVE A SWORD?' and I think they drugged her, dumped her in the bathtub and ordered Chinese take-out to wait for the sedatives to wear off. I had some idea of, like, an oh crap response of her waking up to Jason in his old armor, but, well, it wasn’t flowing, so.

She’s lucky that didn’t go anywhere. That was MINE, first of all. Mine, and not like Robin was mine. I made that name. Second of all, I...I don’t regret everything from that time period. Despite it all, there’s a lot I wouldn’t trade. But a lot of it was a mistake, and I wish I hadn’t needed the Knight in the first place. Let him be dead, don’t. Don’t try to make him any sort of legacy, that’s not...just don’t. Just don’t.-Jason

Was playing around making another ocean scene, saying I wanted it to look blurry as if you were falling asleep on a beach watching the waves and my friend said “you know that thing movies do where it looks like an eye closing when someone’s going to sleep” and so I did that too. I may still do some tweaks to this but for now, I’m feeling it
