Hooray lamp! I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve actually finished some quality illumination. This is one of 2 going out soon. The other is a @blantons_bourbon. I’ve never heard of VIP until I got this one in hand. Pure Indiana bourbon! Leslie Knope would be proud😎👌🏼 I’m also loving my 800grit @mirkaltd sand paper I picked up from Peachtree woodworking. Made the base glass smooth! Get ready for a touching experience🤷🏻‍♂️👌🏼. Now I just need to figure out the wiring. First time dealing with a touch switch. I want to use this for any and all pipe lamps that don’t necessarily have exciting corks/caps. But still make it look great! Luckily the control box is somewhat thin so it should fit nicely inside my bases. I’m always looking for the next great lamp idea! I have a few other stunners in development. So I have a bit of a conundrum. Not sure which side needs to face forward on the @samueladamsbeer Utopias lamp. This is merely a mock up as I want to have copper legs protruding out of each corner to allow it to sit level. I want to finish the top and leave the bottom live edge.
