I need to see Man or Astro-Man? at the Bottletree again!
Leopold & His Fiction
Who: Leopold & His Fiction
Where: Bottletree Cafe
When: Friday, May 30, 2014
Leopold & His Fiction, the hard-traveling Austin based trio visited Birmingham for the third time Friday night.
Playing to a small but lively Bottletree crowd, they delivered a high energy set of mostly original material. Their sound can be difficult to categorize, simultaneously modern but with a 70s fuzz on vocalist/guitarist Daniel James Flying V. Daniel invokes Perry Farrell and Freddie Mercury with his theatrical performance, it’s as if he becomes Leopold while on stage, comically dancing and striking dramatic poses while performing.
Playing over 250 shows per year there is an excellent chance that Leopold & His Fiction will come through your town, do yourself a favor and check them out.
