✨Helloooooo fam!! Well, it’s been another 100 years since my last actual art post…I feel like every time I show up with a new piece, it’s like I’m leaping out of the woods for the first time since your grandma was little and shoving ineffable spice in your face. Like some kind of saucy Bigfoot 😆. Well here’s the newest Ooh-La-La!

✨This piece was a gift for my very dearest Good Omens friend, @ineffablesilversmith. My ineffable wife, and my long-suffering sounding board…she has patiently waited over a year for this piece to happen…and I hope she enjoys it as much as I enjoyed painting it!

✨It’s based at her request on the Bernini sculpture, “The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa”. This sculpture was crafted after Saint Teresa’s own documented rapturous religious experience and was described by her to be something of a blend of spiritual love and physical sensuality. I can think of no better representation of this than our glorious Angel, providing his beloved “foe” with his OWN, er, ecstatic rapture😜.

✨ Ps: I have Big Big Feelings about the Finale, that I’ve been percolating on for the last week. I’ve got more art planned, alongside which I’ll share some of these thoughts with you. The board members rise and leave, all shuffling papers and dragging chairs. Negotiations have been brutal, and neither side is sure the merger will go forward now, not as originally planned.  Crowley doesn’t care about that. He only has eyes for Aziraphale, his counterpart from the other side. They’re the leaders of their respective companies, and if Crowley were honest, he’d admit that their bickering is why these meetings always run long and make little headway. But Crowley isn’t honest, not in business. In personal matters, however, he’s remarkably honest, and he wants Aziraphale.
