my botw run is not so much about beating the game as it is Maximum Cozy: wandering around staring at scenery, at the sky, collecting critters, foraging for ingredients. Occassionally I will attack monsters for their weapons and practice my battle skills. I also beat shrines because trying to survive in this world with low hearts is heckin hard.
My fav thing to do is to wear my skeikah gear then watch animals thru the camera. They all have different behaviours and interactions and it’s so endearing. The monsters too: I actually love the monsters in this game and like to watch them from a distance. They are so fuckin dumb...and so funny. EX: I was watching some sleeping moblins - initially was planning to stealth kill them for their weapons but as I drifted closer some fire chuchus suddenly spawned around them. So I dropped down on an overhang above them and watched. The chuchus seemed to be on lookout, surrounding the moblins in a vague ring. I was looking thru my camera to see if the moblins had any weapons worth stealing....just wooden spears. Not worth. I kept on watching, and noticed that the firey chuchus didn’t seem to hurt the moblins with their flames, clipping through them as they moved.....until one set one of the moblin’s spears alight. Which set the moblin on fire and made him dance around. jesus i cackled.
This happened twice btw. Then the moblin fell back asleep and the chuchu moved under his head so it looked like he was using it as a pillow (i took a screenshot). I love monsters.
(the conclusion to this thrilling saga was that i accidentally pressed the whistle button and they made them all notice me so i ended up fighting them anyway) =3=;
