In Annaba we say to someone who has just coughed “السَّوء” as an abbreviation for“لا يْمَسّك سَوْء” which means “may no evil befall you” and I think it's beautiful ❤️

Sfenj (or Lkhfaf) السفنْجْ : Algerian doughnuts
Is an Algerian sweet that is about a soft dough made with semolina or flour (or a bit of both), sugar, a bit of yeast and vinegar (so the doughnuts turn light and fluffy)
After the dough is left to rest for a while, it is fried in preheated oil until golden, and then served with honey, marmelade, or chocolate and a cup of coffee with some drops of orange blossom water (in my case it's a cup of milk for I absolutely hate coffee 😅)
