amazing question i’ve been praying someone said something about this:

i’m absolutely plotting on making there be some bumps in the road up ahead, making them realizing their both feeling for the first time in a long time,,,,, getting scared of those feelings,,,,, maybe even acting out on it bc of it,,,,then mayb leading them to avoid each other…..yadda yadda you know how it goes

in short words: yeah they’re gonna be dumb + prob miscommunication + prob fuck up + then get together

but you’ve been awhile here huh if yk im always gonna make the process of a relationship happening difficult

and bouncer!steve (or actually just steve in general) will always offer to carry you, he knows what you’re doing, he doesn’t care, he’ll carry you if you just asked for him to for no reason. he really does like you…only as a coworker tho…of course….right….uh huh…..

speaking of bouncer!steve...i just watched Roadhouse (1989) and oh my god dalton’s personality is literally how i imagine bouncer!steve.

his entire thing of “be nice until it's time to not be nice” then beating the shit out of multiple people😭,

because imo when it comes to bouncer!steve, he's reaching his late 20s, no one really needs for him to be the babysitter or protector anymore! he's out on his own and needs to feel useful somewhere. so why not be a bouncer?

the point of the job is basically just to keep shit in order right??? make sure the right people are allowed in, make sure everyone is safe, get the douchebags that got in to get thrown out.

control. that's what it is. he has some sort of control.

bonus! he knows how to fight, BUT he doesn’t like to fight anymore unless he has to.

also the little traits of like no one in the town knows his actual backstory, he refuses to get anything to help with his injuries, a bit closed off...like ugh that's my steve in this au.
