it’s @bouncyenvos birthday!!
I can’t believe I came for the Magma content and then ended up hyperfixating on Star Fox at about the same time as you :U
here’s to another one, my dude!
🔥 (topic: any character relations currently on ur mind? )
HOLY HECK, I thought I answered this but I guess I accidentally saved it as a draft instead?? So sorry, I swear I wasn’t ignoring this!!!

This might be more like an unpopular headcanon versus an unpopular opinion.
Anyways, I don’t really view Wolf and Andrew having a bad relationship at all. I view it more as a “mentor-and-student” relationship, only it comes across as a “bad relationship” because Wolf doesn’t know how to express himself other than just being awkward and callous acting. Wolf gives Andrew lots of advice in the form of tough love. Andrew… is moody and stubborn and doesn’t want to accept the advice but eventually does, but also will never admit it.
I don’t really care for the idea of Andrew and Pigma being throwaway joke characters because they do a lot for the original Star Wolf team dynamic. I’d like to think Andrew was let go from the team other than just because he’s “incompetent” or whatever (which feels incredibly flimsy as an argument imo when you think about how he didn’t fail where others succeeded or anything? All four of them got defeated by Star Fox and the Lylat Wars comic plot is non-canon, so I wouldn’t say that’s a set-in-stone fact or anything– if anything). Same with Pigma.
I hope future SF games go more into the Star Wolf dynamics. Crimson Moon was a great starting point to see more into their team dynamic but tbh it made me just want more.
Mostly Syldys shenanigans
