Also during Festa, Yoongi asked if any of the members were envious of other rooms while blatantly/knowingly eyeing Tae and Jk. They are the only ones to raise their hands (Note: Taekook were not roommates and Jk usually slept in the room shared by Tae, Jimin and Hobi. Namjoon - who was Jk’s roommate - felt a bit bothered by this).

Suspicions that the significance of the date may come from taekook’s first kiss taking place, although all evidence indicates it would’ve been an isolated event at the time that they brushed off. This date is known as a significant date for them because they responded to each other’s love songs on this day in 2016. They also were spotted on a date in a nearby hotel (Namsan tower date) in 2018. We believe the first kiss could’ve happened on this date based on Jk’s song recommendation in March 2015 (see March section for more info but in short he recs an lgbtq song and screenshots “I want more” lyrics while writing “one more” in his tweet). We also concluded this based off of their dynamics. Taking into account the fact that Tae got drunk in September 2014 and kissed a Jimin doll, a possible explanation for a single kiss could be that Tae got drunk and took a risk in kissing a shocked Jk, but then backed off blaming the alcohol. In this scenario jk would have later realized he wanted to experience it once more but wasn’t brave enough & didn’t know if Tae really meant it.

We know Tae, & BTS in general, tend to sleep very late so the day wasn’t yet over. For some reason he drew attention to his lips.

Jk back hugs Tae & presses his lips to his neck to which Tae sticks his tongue out in a flustered manner. Jk was feeling braver little by little. At this point the fact that they fancy each other is becoming way too obvious & public for the company’s liking. They still were paired together for units & orchestrated fanservice though, likewise their moments weren’t edited out yet. They simply started to be watched up close & controlled more by staff.

December 19, 2015:

Tae says he’s scared of Jk’s muscles growing because he’ll be hit but he is giggling. That same day Tae initiates a slow dance while holding onto jk’s butt. Jk tenses his face muscles as he says no with his head but smiles & turns shyly when they separate.

On the Japan tour, Tae playfully grabs Jk’s neck pretending to go for a kiss. They play fight & Jk ends up picking Tae to drop him on the sofa. Jk usually picks him up which is also the perfect excuse for physical contact

February 22, 2017:

They go to the Gaon Awards the same day. Once there – ignited by Tae's earlier actions – Jk starts to initiate some flirting as he does the “itsy bitsy spider” on Tae’s back at this award show & continuously taps tae’s chair. Tae sees the opportunity & despite being in public he goes to grab Jk’s crotch to make him stop but Jk blocks the action. Tae must’ve been blinded by the excitement of Jk partially responding.

Tae shoves Jk away to end the tapping
