“Truth is, some folks just don’t deserve teeth.” Samuel laughs, staring down at the man who, in their company, dared announce that all bounty hunters are scoundrels just as cheap and crooked as the outlaws they capture, then started threatening the other customers with his colt.

Bending down, Samuel relieves the gentleman of his wallet, slipping out the dollars and placing it back.

“Good schoolin’ don’t come cheap.” He smiles, digging his elbow into Randall’s ribs and pointing back to the Saloon they’ve just exited. “Guess drinks are on old gummy here.”

“I told him, that bastard, I told him never use green.” She grumbled, carrying the old bottles to the edge of the cliff. The wagon was her’s now, inherited after her father’s hanging. But she also inherited the job of scrubbing off its dark past. The advertisements had to be removed, and the poison he shilled had to be disposed of.

Smash! She heard the delightful sound of cracking glass as it hit the bottom of the cliff. Arsenic, green pigment contained arsenic. No wonder people started dropping like flies before he could skip town. The colour was beautiful, but it was deadly, it’s why she never used green paint, it’s why she warned her father never to dye his elixirs the same colour.

She began to throw them off one by one, before she heard someone approach.
