remember that post i made about a character gaining weight once they’re happy in the story? like my most popular post on here? yeah it was about him. i made this drawing a bit ago to kinda show burdock’s weird relationship with food and his weight. food was used as a way to torture him when he was in prison, and even before that he had a very strict regiment to keep him strong as a knight. but then he was broken out of prison and was finally comfortable enough to eat freely, but it took a bit.

burdock probably gained some sort of body dysmorphia and disordered eating habits from all of this. technically he’s the healthiest he’s ever been now that he was safe and eating regularly, but he definitely thinks he’s more out of shape than he actually is. but he’s still like crazy strong and always has been

i think i’m just exploring a lot of the complicated things i think about with this guy. i’ve never had his exact problems obviously, but i’ve also had problems with eating and my own weight. it’s fun to work through irl issues with my boys
