Me when cat box mask…

So, I wanna do outfit of the days with you guys so I have a reason to actually put effort into my outfits for uni, but I don’t wanna face reveal so my only option is a mask made from a giant box with a cat face on it. Yeah. (My hallucination koi suggested it, so… blame them if I don’t post because of it.)

Description: Vintage Brown Mink Pillbox Hat Mahogany Mink Fur Brown and Brown Satin 1950's. The Mink Hat measures approximately 22 1/4 inches around the inside brim station. It features Brown Satin brim and top stations. It is in excellent Vintage condition, no rips, stains, repairs, etc…no noted damage. There is no Maker's Mark or Maker's Label present. This Mink Hat is stunning, traditional, elegant and timeless.

Vintage Silvery greyish fur pill box hat, grey taupe fur pillbox hat, retro midcentury fur hat

Price: $40

Description: This is a great hat in a wonderful color that is hard to describe and really must be seen to appreciate. It perhaps was worn once, or maybe just tried on in a shop. Union label in the back ribbon.

I think the fur is mink in a great mix of silvery grey and light beige and deeper mushroom. In light there is more silvery tipping showing, and in less light the hat is more taupe or mushroom in color. Well 'built' with a structured top and more flexible sides. The top is really great with the furs sort of swirled and gathered into 2 loops at the top. I think these are just for design but that doesn't mean you can't add your own touches. Tuck some pretty netting into the loops in a pouf or tuck some grey brown feathers in and let them curl around and under and positioned as you like.

Hat is fully lined and has 2 tiny combs on the side to tuck into your hair. There is a grosgrain band around the inside circumference with a Union label at the back. Label in the dome of the lining reads designed by Lora. Lora did a great job.

This is a hat to position as you like. Tilt it with attitude or position it properly at the top back, as Jackie Kennedy would have. Wear your hair sleek. Wear big sunglasses. A cashmere sweater. High leather gloves. Options spring eternal.

About 2 1/2" high 20" inside circumference

The fur is soft and supple ,lined in a soft pinkish rose colored satin. It has the original tag that says "Union Made in U.S.A." with a serial number and then a 6…. which I am assuming is the size. measures approx. 21" around the inside rim.
