Finished a miniature today. I made Re-Tail for Reese and Cyrus (the animal crossing new leaf version) by modifying a flower shop kit. The colors are a lot but I like how it came out.

The glare outside was rough but you can see Cyrus and Reese inside through the little open/screen bit.

I made the signs by hand and tried to keep them close to the game art.

Also the light over the main sign and a light inside the store are functional. Also the blue pallets are meant to mimic the ones from the game where items are put up for sale.

Now that it’s done, it gets to go with my other animal crossing rooms:

all the hardware except the table is in! now it’s decorating time :D

i have a volunteer to help me pick the fabric (it helps when deciding if a print is in scale or not)

the cushions on the chair are added + ribbon to tie the doll down for safe travels

i found some lace that is perfect for some 1/12 scale curtains (need to iron them so they would lie flatter and with folds tho!) the peacock feather print in the second pic will probably be the solid curtains

the lime green is some fleece i am using as stuffing since it’s super soft and i have an inexplicable amount of it

more progress on the book box room!

i painted all the wood and glued it together (but not in place) with no huge errors \o/ added the light, the bead is held in place with some wire bc i wasn’t sure if i had any glue strong enough to keep it there, i should look in to investing in some;;;

glued in wallpaper, it looks wrinkly but luckily dried without all those flaws

i invested in a small saw+cutting guide and i got to say so worth it, it made making the window frame painless, while usually such things are a struggle for me (i have a hard time cutting in straight lines if it’s not fabric)

and window installed! as well as the leather cover but i forgot to take pictures of it >.>;;;
