SHES SO GORGEOUS I LOVE HER
Do you know what frustrates me? *rant ahead*
On the newest ‘Boy Talk’ on Boxes of Foces video, people are replying to Emma’s comment by saying ‘how can people be offended by male and female’?
Well...YOU CAN’T SPEAK FOR OTHER PEOPLE, YOU KNOW!
I personally find the way that they were both using them in the video slightly uncomfortable. I do, okay? I just found it uncomfortable! And, as far as I can tell, most people who commented that are Cisgendered. You don’t know what it’s like to be trans! You don’t know that! So saying that is just like going up to a gay person and saying ‘how can you have feelings for the same sex?? its weird!!!’ You wouldn’t do that, would you?
And, although this is kinda a sidenote, I saw a few comments ssaying ‘im bi so i cant have anything against the lqbt commuinity but..’
Yes.
You can still be bi, ace, aro, trans e.c.t and still be ‘phobic’ of something.
For example, my old friend was homosexual, and he was biphobic, transphobic, panphobic, and ace/arophobic.
I hate ranting like this, ut it’s annying me.
TL;DR I bascially found the way that Emma and Luke were using the terms ‘male’ and ‘female’ in the new Boy Talk video uncomfortable, and the comments of cisgendered folk (its okay to be cis, btw) annoyed me b/c they were completely ignoring the fact that they themselves weren’t trans
I hate ranting, but I had to point this out.
Study tips from the lovely Emma Blackery
Let's talk about how precious Emma Blackery is
YES, another Dear Emma courtesy of emmablackery!
I’ve posted her videos before, partly because she’s awesome, but mostly because her advice is fantastic. I know you all appreciate the advice I give, and I’m grateful that you trust me to help you when you’re in need. But the reality is I’m just a dude, and I have a limited amount of experience with life and the world just like anyone else.
Emma offers an alternate perspective. More importantly, a female perspective (I know the majority of you out there are ladies), and one that’s much more in tune with medical needs. She’s also a bit gentler than I tend to be in my advice, which is more to the point and tough so you can be equally as tough!
But Emma and I tend to follow the same logic: use your words, talk out your problems, take care of yourself, and see a doctor if you can’t. All solid advice, and all important. Give her a view, because she’s awesome and worth your time. Also this makes me want to lose it because I should resume my video series too. Also also, my name is Fox and she likes foxes, we’re practically the same person.
My Journey Into Discovering Lush
Hello my lushable guys and gals! How are you all doing? My name is Abi i am 18 and i live in the southeast of the UK. For a while i’ve wanted to start a blog and not been to sure what to blog about until i had a hard think and realised… oh yeah i am obsessed with lush! As we all know there are plenty of lush blogs out there but i finally have a good reason to blog about something i love and i kind of have it as a hobby, i do have other hobbies but this one is one of my favourites.
So from a young age i never really knew what lush was, we are talking about from the age of 6 here, i’d always walk past the shop with my mum and wonder what it was but never actually asked my mum what lush was so one day i came to the conclusion that lush was a cheese shop with different colour cheese (due to the big blocks of soap), to then one day asking mum if i could go into the cheese shop which she laughed and told me it was beauty cosmetic shop with awesome bath bombs, but at a young age your skin can be quite sensitive so my mum didn’t really want me using their products just incase i had a reaction, which looking back on it now yeah i can see why only because of being young and as mums do worry when your little!
It wasn’t till earlier this year i noticed my favourite YouTuber who is also an absolute inspiration Emma Blackery was making lush hauls and straight away i was finding myself scrolling through the lush website choosing what products i wanted to buy and try! I found myself the next day heading up to my local shopping centre and heading into lush with confidence and picking up 5 products, i won’t go into detail of what ones i purchased as you will see them soon but it was 3 bath bombs and 2 bubble bars!
So now i am completely hooked and can’t wait to do more blogging about my lush purchases and other bits and pieces relating to Lush!
I hope you enjoyed my little intro to my blog, feel free to follow i’d really appreciate it
Thank you for reading
Abi
I have to fly out today. Do I really look like I have time to put cheese on my face?
