>> The brilliant boy detective. He was glad his job kept him out of Angus' view as he was certain he would have found out his gift from... something. The way his shoelaces were tied or how he flicked the light switch in the base's main corridor. He didn't know how he would have found out but he would have. Somehow. That's what he figured anyways. From the few times Kravitz had talked to Angus he felt something begin to kindle once more. The dormant anxiety of seeing a child plunge into danger with the false assurance that it's okay. Everything will be fine even if it isn't. His positivity in dire situations did little to stomp out the flame. Reading snippets of Angus' past and current adventures only fed it as he found himself drawing similarities between this young silver dragon and his late half-dragon daughter. He hid his horror the best he could, though, when he dropped off his gifts at the kid's office. He had to dig through the Queen's storage to find his belongings but now sitting on Angus' desk was a pile of old leather bound spell books tied carefully together with a glowing white string. Old but in surprisingly good condition considering that they were owned by the Grim Reaper when he was alive some 5 000 years ago. They were written in... in some language that was long dead. Wonderful. Attached to the book was a full card reading:"Angus, happy Candlenights! I know you like puzzles so I decided to give you one that will also help with your magic. I used these books when I was your age to study to become a user of the arts. They don't seem to be in a modern language, however. So, your challenge is to decipher the text and learn some old (but useful!) spells. I gave you a guide on the back of this note to get started. If you require assistance, you know how to contact me. Best wishes and stay safe. :-)- Kravitz"
