So here;s the finished guard and a few C series trolls with an unknown troll I picked up at BOYL2016, which I finished before i went off to BOYL2017.
While I was at BOYL2016 I played a very gentle game of Space Fleet with Thantsants / Steve, which I enjoyed immensely. It looks as though there’ll be a large a multi game campaign at next years BOYL, so I’ve decided to take a break from the fantasy for a while and invest a bit of time in putting together a Tyranid fleet to take part. so, here are my first attempts with hopefully more to follow, ebay willing!
The colour scheme is based upon a Kingfisher, and I’m attempting washes, not my usual technique and I’ve got to say I’m enjoying the change.

More picture of some of the things which went on at BOYL2016 , last weekend, more to come.
So I took a few boxes of kit to BOYL 2016 at Wargames Foundry, Newark to take part in the BFFG over the course of last weekend, Here’s just a few picture of the game.
Pictures of my old metal ogres, which I’m taking to BOYL2016, first up a group shot of them all together, followed by a shot of the original Golgfags ogres produced by Games Workshop, then the second edition, followed by pictures of the various character models - the entertainer, providing those little pieces of joy after dinner, the shaman, the killer, the loner, the ‘nice’ one, the army standard bearer and finally the main man. As ever my pictures do me no fravours.

OK, here's the latest batch of Amazonian types to join the Barbarians ranks - finding the painting too cumbersome to achieve the numbers I'd like, in the time I’ve got - as the skin is four layers of colour - alone and then there's the plaid - May have to cut the numbers or simplify, if, I'm to get the cavalry done in time as well - as I can't see the wife won't giving me boot space for painting stuff when we go away on holiday, before BOYL! OK, after all the daemons etc I thought is about time I started doing something about the more mundane sections of the army - sacrificial alter with offerings! ans a few barbarian archer types
