While everyone at the casino is employed in the sense that they work there and are paid, they’re all actually under contract. The contract pretty plainly states that Gambit is going to hunt them down if they stop working there also.

Working conditions are fine overall. They have insurance coverage and PTO and sick time, but their wages have to be formally negotiated. Edge isn’t nearly as bold as DD or Jackpot are, so he has the lowest pay.

Also, Gambit just doesn’t like him as much.

Question about Edge how would he react if someone isn't able to fully perceive the eyes in his hair. Like to them they aren't eyes but they just see stuff in his hair?

This is a very funny concept to me. Edge is performative, so the thought that someone’s looking at him like “why does this guy have shit in his hair?” is hilarious. He’s definitely making direct eye contact and mentally calling you every synonym for stupid he can think of.

In all honesty, it wouldn’t be anything insane. Edge is actually the only human (or very close to) in the BP team, and his eyes are a result of experimental mutation. It’s more usual for people to think his traditionally abnormal traits are the normal ones.

I actually feel like it’s important to mention at this point that BP takes place in a modern nonhuman society, and humans are incredibly rare to nonexistent. You might notice that all of the guys are more unique in their monstrous traits now.

…Except Gambit. I wonder what kind of creature he is? (evil vagueness HAHAHA!!!!)
