3D - Braille player communication prototype
Here is a prototype of my braille vinyl player. I experimented by using card, and ply wood. I used equipment such as knife, glue gun, scissors and laser cutter to create the experimental vinyl.
Direction and changes - I would like my actual outcome to be about 3 times the size of this. Furthermore I would to create my box out of ply wood (9mil probably.) Additionally I would prefer to use a mechanical drill as the method of spinning the canvas on top. I think that either door stoppers or rivets will be best when replicating braille.
I will now begin to research what i would like the braille to communicate (i am going to have a few vinyls, made in laser cutter, to ‘say’ different things) - song? speech? lyrics? dialogue? quote?
