- saying hi to the dog when she wakes up

- jaw-dropped fascination with a model train that was running at a restaurant we went to.

- [runs up to soccer ball] "KIIIIICK." [kicks over it, falls on butt.] "Uh oh." For context this was the first time she's ever seen one and I was trying to explain how to engage with it. She actually picked it up quick!

Anyway she's pretty cool, especially for a kid who hasn't been earthside for more than 16 months.

Gotta say I am so glad that I normally use tumblr on my desktop because some of the AI ads I'm getting on this app are fucking nasty. I'm not even talking about the porn, either! I'm talking full-scale body horror kinda shit.

I'm talking about the ad where they shave someone's back, revealing a bunch of giant boils and pimples, one of which is actually a worm that they slowly pull out with a pair of tweezers, leaving a huge gaping hole in the person's back.

I genuinely almost puked, and I'm still nauseated just thinking about it. Genuinely who is approving this bullshit?! Is no one vetting these ads? I mean, what the actual fuck, y'all.
