Decent thoughts because I played that recently too:

Max's brother accompanies him down to investigate the earthquakes and Max absolutely regrets it once they get down to the areas where the lyrium is more obvious. Aden has really, really good control but still, that's just not a good place for a Templar

The nug king is fucking weird

He collects all the mugs because why the hell not

darkspawn are still fucking creepy and he's just glad there are no ghouls

He's never been particularly fond of the Chant of Light but it's his favorite sound while down there because it means Aden is still alive and maintaining his rigid control even after they get down into the deepest reaches of the place

He sleeps for a solid day after they get back out because the stress and the fights just take everything out of him.

He now fully agrees with Varric anytime he mentions his hatred of the deep roads
