In this case it was a person. His name was David Shin. Literally the dumbest motherfucker you could ever meet, bar none.

The last month of senior year I was sitting in his class during my lunch period (with a few other friends). The teacher was going around the room asking kids what they were doing after hs. Common answers generally like college/military/year off or whatever. Some white girl says she's going to some university in the mid west or something and david fucking shin decides it's a good idea to say rather loudly:

"Don't get lynched."

I shit you not. This guy fucking said that. Sitting there with his backwards snap back on wondering why everyone was looking at him. The teacher was super laid back so he only told him not to say stuff like that but it's david shin. Just word vomiting for 6 years straight. 

Unstoppable.

We are being asked to read an awesome book for my Functional Assessment class! It is called, "My Stroke of Insight, A Brain Scientist's Personal Journey." by Jill Bolte Taylor, Ph.D. It is about a Harvard trained brain scientist who experienced a massive stroke when a blood vessel exploded in the left side of her brain.  

It is such a unique perspective on a person suffering a stroke.  It is a great read!
