Buzz #13
Y’know, your brain is a really powerful thing, but, it’s not capable of creating faces you've never seen before. This means that every person you see in a dream is someone you've encountered in life. Be it an old family member you've only seen once when you were young, or some stranger you saw at the coffee shop. Every face you see in your dreams is someone you have seen in real life.
So what does this mean for the monsters and demons that plague our nightmares? Could these beings exist as well and our brains are just too conditioned to blocking out the insane and protecting us from danger that we don’t remember these creatures of terror that we've encountered?
What if people with schizophrenia and other acclaimed mental disorders, as well as those able to peek beyond the veil are just those of use with the ability to hold on to these images and beat the auto-blocking of our minds to see the creatures as they are.
True and physical.
Just like all the faces you meet in waking and in dream.
