On the topic of reading glasses brainy specs and whether or not they are oredimental, I think it is relevant to bring up that in every reconstrution of Power of the Daleks I’ve encounted, Two puts on One’s glasses and discovers they don’t need them. This, too me, suggests one of two things: either one needed reading glasses and two doesn’t, or neither encarnation needed glasses but One was pretentious enough to pretend they did and Two wasn’t.

Or, I suppose two might need reading glasses as much as one did, but doesn’t like wearing them.
