vector prime what would happend if a klyntar (the venom symbiote ) took over a cyrbertronien
Dear Symbiosis Supposer,
Terrible things.
The Dire Wraiths, in their conquest of Earth, foresaw many threats to their domination. One of these was the apparently inexplicable reappearance of Cybertronians over the years. The Wraiths had long hated Cybertronians: their mechanical forms resisted Wraith corruption, and their existence was seen as blasphemous.
Seeking to find a way to truly corrupt them, the Wraiths turned to blasphemy of their own—using dark science, they cloned Cybertronian test subjects from remains of battle. The closest they came to success was with the creation of Brake-Neck, cloned from portions of Wildrider's body and animated with a spark created through sorcery. Desperate after innumerable failed trials, the Dire Wraiths sought to open a portal to the Dead Universe—hoping that by draining his spark with its necrotic energies, his body would become more vulnerable to infestation. Instead they encountered something else, a living abyss, some other form of Necroverse where slept a symbiotic monster—and from my prior experiences in similar universes, I can recognise this horror to be a klyntar.
The symbiote fused with Brake-Neck, the alien flesh merging with his own cybermetal until the two were one. The Wraiths were happy with this result... until the symbiote/Brake-Neck fusion broke their arcane containment and devoured them. Angry at the world, the pair escaped into the wilderness, cutting a path of destruction that Earth was ill-prepared to deal with. The Wraiths, stinging from their own defeat, unleashed their own force of protectors, who had infiltrated earth: the Dire Avengers.
The Dire Avengers and the symbioteformer fought numerous battles, neither side claiming total victory, nor losing completely. The symbiote's abilities mirrored the Dire Wraith's own, with both using biomass to form weaponry, or attempting to corrupt one another.
In the end, the Dire Avengers were defeated by Rom, leaving the symbiote at something of a loss. He had been spared by Rom—unexpected to both, as Rom had been sure that he was facing a new kind of Cybertronian/Wraith hybrid—and the two had formed an uneasy truce. The symbiote's hatred for the Dire Wraiths was almost as strong as Rom's own, and the pair ended up cutting a swathe of destruction against Wraithkind—until the symbiote's lack of concern for bystanders resulted in a final duel, where Rom extinguished the spark that was holding the creature together, and used his Neutralizer's sonic destructor mode to finish off the symbiote itself.
But I realise that this may already be familiar to you. Surely you have a copy of Rom: Absolute Car-Nage?

Dear Vector Prime, what became of IDW Wildrider after he quit the Stunticons?
Dear Stunticon Scrier,
The Wildrider you speak of did have a fairly notorious life once he departed the team. Living among the slums, his characteristic rage and instability served to make him more misanthropic than ever. While he enjoyed jeering at Bumblebee and his companions from the vantage point of a good mob, no Autobot or Decepticon would give this roughhouser the time of day one-on-one. Sometimes a well-intentioned NAIL would explore the rougher ends of the shanty town that had been built on Iacon's primordial foundations and come across his particularly decrepit hab, and, well—although I trust there were no fatalities, that is how he came to earn the nickname "Brake-Neck". Sometimes Dead End would visit him, and Wildrider would listen to his anxious ramblings, but made no attempt to engage back.
He lived miserably for some time, making no effort to improve himself or his situation, and this did not change until the onset of the short-lived (yet meta-synergistically named) Combiner War. While most did not understand what they were looking at in the low light, he instantly recognised the combiner he was once a piece of. His fury and shame and betrayal and pain burned white hot... but when a spark rages enough, it finds calm in the storm's eye. His hatred as ice, and without leaving even a note for his ex-teammate, Wildrider walked into the feral wilds of Cybertron and never looked back.
He lived out there for years. He may even have come to be happy, finding the enrichment he had been sorely lacking as he overcame the dangers of that brutal environment—but the greatest threat to his life was one he knew nothing about. The Energon veins he tapped for sustenance had been tainted by the Talisman’s magic. It is some mercy that rather than the scalding of disintegration that befell Kup or Quickswitch, the low dosage brought him only the dull ache of gradual system failure and eventual stasis lock. I will note that his last moments were but days before the arrival of the monster planet, which surely would have spelled his doom regardless.
It is easy to see tragedy in his demise. Perhaps, after being tempered by his experiences in the wastes, he could have reunited with his teammates—or at least the one that wanted to speak to him. But life is imperfect, and although his serenity was short-lived, it was still a great deal better than many Wildriders' ends. A life defined by violence, ending in peace—is that not an admirable path of fate?
