FEMBOT CONTENT!11!!! and its my fav clingest body guard, Chromia. reader wears paints on their face! think of it similiar to make up? Camien reader!!!
scenario: there's a religious festival coming up and your beloved doesn't even try
setting: right before the Combiner Hunter's special!
"We're going to be late!" Chromia groans as she's seated down on the sofa in your room. Her servos on top the backrest as she leans her weight entirely, waiting for you to get ready so they could go to the festival already--- Chromia is back from Cybertron, temporarily taking a break from being body guard to the city-speaker, Windblade.
"Please," You scoff as you put on the last of your paints, making sure the lines you intend to leave are as perfect as you want them to be.
"We're still got hours. Besides, the Mistress of Flames is a perfectionist when it comes to these things..." You say, taking a translucent paint to coat over specific strokes to give it that metallic shine. A hum leaves your vocalizer as you admire your handiwork in the mirror.
Meanwhile an impatient Chromia storms into your shared room.
"Yeah maybe but-" She stops dead in her tracks at the door frame as you looks at you, blue optics widening slightly as she scans your face. Her spark jumps to the back of her intake as she stands there, frozen.
You look stunning.
In fact, she might not even have the word to describe how you look. Just gwaking at you like she's never seen you like this before, even if you do put a lot of effort into your appearance every time the two of you go out. You've always been insistent on that. But at this moment, you look... different. Maybe its because she misses you considering how long she's been away from you, working on Cybertron and dealing with Starscream. She's missed you dearly through it all.
The way the light of the room reflects against your face plating. The colours complement your frame very well, really bringing out your features, the shimmer on your dermas is calling out to Chromia to just kiss you senseless-
"...you're going to the festival looking like that?" You hiss out, raising at optical ridge at Chromia who has done nothing to make an appearance for the event. Your glare is disapproving and your sharp tone makes her snap out of her train of thoughts, bringing her back into the present moment. You've got a small frown on your face.
"Come on, you know I don't really..." Chromia tries to make an excuse as you sit there with your servos crossed around your chassis. Primus, she does want to defend herself, tell you that your concerns frivolous and that it doesn't matter whether she's all dolled up or not. But right now, she might be feeling a little weak...
You sigh.
"Over a million years living on a planet with artists and you still don't know how to do your face paints.." You mutter with a pout as you get off your seat, picking up your paints and remover as you sit on the edge of your shared berth, gesturing her to come sit next to you as you help her out with this. Chromia sighs in defeat... Even if she does manage to get past you, she knows damn well the Mistress of Flame would disapprove if she made no effort and that's the last person she wants to confront.
"Fine. But hurry up.." The blue bot mumbles as she settles down next to you, you've got a small smile on your face with how quickly she gave it— No resistance at all, in fact. Chromia watches as your take out a thin brush, swirling a specific shade of red which you knew was her favorite. Your free servo gently moves her face closer to you, her optics fixated into yours. She can see how focused you are as you bring the brush upto her face, slowly stroking her face. The brush was soft, it was soothing almost. Though, Chromia doesn't really like sitting in one position for a very long time.
She subconsciously moves her helm and you frown, pulling her back closer. Trying not to mess up your strokes.
"The more you move, the longer this will take." You dab some remover onto a cloth and gently undo your previous stroke. A grumble leaves her vocalizer as she tries to sit still, a grimace faintly forming on her face.
This. This is exactly why she hated paints. Chromia never had the patience for it. You need to sit impossibly still, you need to make sure your servos don't shake, you need to make sure you don't take too much paint lest it were to leak out of the stroke you wanted... It was like surgery without cutting ones frame open.
Your optics furrow in concentration, trying to get the paint under her optics right. The curves are so much harder for you to get in this angle-
You take a vent in.
"This won't work." You mutter, and for a moment Chromia is filled with false hope. Happy that you're about to give up but she should've known better because next thing she knows, you're practically straddling her lap with your optics looking down at her face and she freezes again at the sheer proximity. Her frame stiffening as she just.. blinks when one of your servos firmly grips her chin, pulling her helm upward as you get back to painting.
You're acting like you're not affecting her and its... getting to her but right now? If she moves, you'll have to start all of this all over again.
"Much better, don't you think?" You have a sly smile playing on your dermas. You know what you're doing and she tries to keep a straight face as you continue painting. Both her servos grasping your sides with a firm squeeze. You're trying to tease her!
Truth is, she can't even be annoyed even if she wanted to. Chromia likes the view, mesmerized by the movement of your servos with the brush as her optics are glued into yours. You're looking at her face with so much focus— It brings her back to your younger years when you'd sit there painting for hours and she'd just watch. Her servos gently rub your sides, she sees that small smile that flashes across your face as you continue painting her face.
For once... Chromia hopes you actually take your time with this.
BONUS:
Chromia grumbles as she walks alongside you, you'd done such a good job with her paints that she's been getting compliments left and right... Its not something she's used to. At all. Her servos are intertwined with yours as she holds it tightly.
"Someone's flustered.." You coo out quietly, teasing her as the two of you continue walking past the many stalls for the celebrations.
