We had a great time and shout to all the open minded people in the audience. America has great people all over. 1 Take Away: There is a new paradigm shift in the business landscape. As people become more involved in campaigning for change, they want to see brands take a stand, and support something greater than just corporate profits. People are willing to put their wallets where their beliefs are, and for the brands that understand this new social reality, they stand to help the cause of social progress, while increasing market share and improving their bottom line. 2nd Take Away: You can’t control public sentiment. You are not in control. 3rd. Listen, build you company on human values. 4th. Branding is about creating emotion—it’s not necessarily rational. 5th.
