You know, I hate to say it, but if that shitty ass post about 'wanting a boy with self esteem issues' was about females instead, you can bet your sweet, tangy asshole that the OP would have been run off Tumblr by now and every single person would have been up their asshole. But instead, since it's about a dude, I'm sure most everyone just completely agrees with it because fuck logic, right?
Oh absolutely, there'd be an uproar about it, there's no questioning it. I'm just glad that at least some people had the common sense to say "hey, that's not cool".
Because "I need a trophy partner who consistently looks at themselves and hates what they see to the degree that they think they're worthless and disgusting, no matter how often or by whom they're told otherwise, because I need someone to help fix my own self-esteem issues since I can proclaim I have an attractive partner and parade them around like a dolled-up animal in a cage" is a load of bullshit.
As someone who has been hounded by self-esteem issues for his entire life (I'm barely recovering from them and my confidence can still be incredibly fragile despite my amazing girlfriend doing so much to convince me that I'm better than I sometimes think), I find that post to be really, really uncalled for and rude. Self-esteem issues aren't something you try and project onto others or fix by making the issues of other people even worse.

Well thank you very much! You'd be glad to know, then, that a lot of my names are based around translations from other languages (primarily Swedish and Czech) so they actually have some meaning and allow readers to figure stuff like that out :D
