did the math and if brandy and dorothy were stuck in the simulation for at least an hour in the real world, they would have spent around two and a half years together. (and all of that went away in a blink of an eye…)

“this might sound to you a bit odd, but you own the place where all my thoughts go hiding. right under your clothes is where i find them.”
yes, that is in fact, a shakira song on a super gay hotel reverie fanart.
Brandy butchering Clair de Lune on the piano for Clara is the equivalent of a basketball player saying “babe, this one is for you” and completely missing their shot lmaoo

just rewatched Hotel Reverie and the second time around it's even more heartbreaking because since you know that Brandy doesn't die and can be safely extracted again, you can actually focus more on their romance and oh...the tragedy
I mean Brandy spent about 2 months stuck there with Dorothy, falling in love with each other, and then all of a sudden, as soon as the system gets reboosted, they reset it to the scorpio scene and Dorothy cannot remember all the time she spent with Brandy, while for Brandy it's like these 2 months just happened but she's supposed to not even think about it a d focus on the scene...
and then you realise that despite what some people say, it's actually some fucking great acting right there, cause of course Brandy wouldn't stay focused on the scene but look flabbergasted af, seeing how the person she fell in love with doesn't remember any of those moments spent together anymore and they're right at the beginning of their love again, but also not, cause Clara sends Alex away since she's married
and then, next thing you know Clara is mad at Alex and doesn't believe her husband would wanna kill her, meanwhile Brandy is fucking heartbroken about it and then, as if this wasn't bad enough, Clara gets shot and dies...
meanwhile Brandy wakes up and everyone around her acts as if nothing fucking happened and life just goes on while she literally just lost the person she loved... it's just utterly fucking heartbreaking
