A tasty drink that was made to look like the traditional Italian dessert zabaglione. The rich flavors of Marsala wine, brandy, and egg yolk come together to make this creamy and rich drink.
Ingredients: 3 oz Marsala wine. 1 oz brandy. 1 oz simple syrup. 1 egg yolk.
Instructions: Whisk the Marsala wine, brandy, simple syrup, and egg yolk together in a bowl until everything is well mixed. Put the mixture in a double boiler or a bowl that can handle heat that is set over a pot of simmering water. For about 5 to 7 minutes, whisk the mixture all the time until it gets thicker and more like custard. Take it off the heat and let it cool down a bit. Put the zabaglione inside a cocktail glass. Serve right away, and if you want, sprinkle some nutmeg on top.
