I didn't realise you're doing linguistics!!! my housemate's doing linguistics and he'll say shit like "glottal stop" and my brain immediately short circuits

yup! japanese and linguistics dual honours

honestly i’ve taken so many hours of linguistics at this point but my brain still short circuits any time anyone uses a slightly technical term. i’ve basically gotten this far by just throwing out words like ‘auxiliary’ and ‘obligatory movement’ randomly throughout my sentences and that seems to have worked so far but god if i remember what anything means

<3 <3 <3 she only just moved in yesterday actually so i was pretty chuffed! my starting villagers were plucky and flip who i wasn’t really THAT keen on tbh but they’re growing on me. i also have ozzie moving in tomorrow who i love so that’s exciting

I have not had a single healthy week since I got here for freshers. I miss health

i am legitimately ill ALL THE TIME and now it’s finals and i’m just breaking down in tears every other hour as well. the tears + snot + cough combo is not a sexy look
