Bert had been in attendance of the ball all three years running, and every year, the host seemed to outdo himself. His home, now completely refurbished, looked amazing, and was entirely accommodating for the large amount of guests he had here tonight. As he entered the main hall, where most everyone was gathered, Bert was greeted by a swell of costumes, masks, wings, glitter, the works. Hans decided that while he adored horses, some people were reckless with them, and others were an entirely different level of dangerous with or without one at all. He came to this conclusion as his face hit the mud (or what he hoped to be mud) after a rather large horse had nearly run him over, the cries of its rider to "stop" or something and the other still ringing in his ears. Somewhat unconscious and in quite a bit of pain, he could only slowly pick himself up and start peeling the filth off of his face, not entirely sure what else to do in his dazed state.

And yes, I don't know if I announced it or not on here, but I am now gainfully employed! Working through a temp agency doing data entry. It's only a temporary position, but it's pretty much guaranteed three months, sooo. . . and 11 bucks an hour too.
This does mean I'll have less free time to keep the tumblrs updated, though, hence the lack of a Forgotten Vows Friday this week. I'll probably also skip Secundus Sunday. I hope to bring them back next week with fanfic updates and the like!
