After working and re-working my pathfinding algorithm, here are some results I will definitely post later in a Medium article explaining my whole journey trying to figure out how to make these units move right for my energy-managing RTS.

It's been a long while since I've updated y'all into my gamedev efforts, so here's something: I've started working with a new engine. [https://godotengine.org/](Godot Engine) is an opensource Unity-like 2D/3D engine that is charmingly indie. I also feel it works a lot better with low-res assets than Unity does, but that's just from a few experiments.
I've been jumping from idea to idea until I've arrived on this fairly playable concept of a ballista fending off giant insects. It's going to have a sort of PvZ dynamic, except you have only one ballista. And they're gigantic arthropods.
It's something, and I probably could've done it whole during the 5-day holiday if I didn't waste so much time in dead-ends, but that's how indie game dev goes, I guess. :P
And that is it for the time being. Stay tuned for more BrazMogu gamedev updates... maybe

In which I decide to talk about what turns took me to making a female clone of Super Mario Bros.
Late sharing my own post about the origins of my latest 1GAM game. :V
Lead 4 spirits in a cooperative quest to find the fifth that keeps them together.
The alpha release is out, woot! \o/
The prototype of my next game, a starship obstacle runner, is available to be played.
Also, the reason why I’ll have to interrupt this prototype way before I had planned.
It’s almost there! :V
The game is actually slightly more ready than I report here. The “collect puzzle pieces and they turn into resources” part is cool already. :)
I’m more worried now that I have no idea what to do next month. :P
