why do parents think that they have a right to just BARG INTO OUR ROOMS? like it makes me so uncomfortable, i’m not an 8 year old anymore. don’t fucking just come into my room. knock and wait for a response, like damn. god it pisses me off so much. SO MUCH. like i want privacy, i’m an adult and i do adult things and they just barg in. IT MAKES ME SO MAD AND SO UNCOMFORTABLE.

It really bothers tf out of me to hear how some of these people talk to customer service reps. Why be so nasty to somebody that their literal job is to help you? And then they treat foreigners with such disrespect. I hate it, I swear I do.

i kinda hate when my friend comments on something i do with him because i was wearing his sweatshirt and we were just walking and then she just really loudly went “YA KNOW I WAS THE FIRST PERSON EVER TO WEAR THAT SWEATSHIRT” and i was like ....okay... and i was the last? and hopefully i’m the last girl tO wear this sweatshirt...?

Let’s talk for a second about Disney princesses.

Listen guys. I LOVE those Disney gals who saved themselves and wrote their own story. I love Mulan saving all of China and taking command of an army. I love Merida standing up for herself and winning her own hand. I love Tiana, who worked hard every second of her life in order to earn her own happily ever after and achieve her dream. I love Anna and Elsa constantly fighting for each other and saving each other through sisterly love. And you all know I ADORE Moana and her journey to find herself and save her island. Incredible characters, one and all!

But can we remember Cinderella, slaving away for an abusive stepmother who constantly tried to diminish her worth, while Cinderella still stayed kind and strong? Can we remember Snow White, who lost both of her parents, only to be left with a jealous stepmother who TRIED TO KILL HER? Can we remember Aurora, who was cursed as a tiny baby, taken from her parents, and lived a lonely life with no friends except animals and 3 ditzy (albeit lovable) fairies, never permitted to meet anyone new or go on real adventures and discover life? Can we talk about all the Disney heroines who had difficult beginnings, who were treated unjustly, who withstood adversity but maintained their kindness and never stopped dreaming? Cinderella never asked for a prince to come take her away. She asked for just one night where she didn’t have to dress in rags and endure the abuse that surrounded her daily. Ariel longed to be a part of the human world long before she met Eric, he simply gave her even more reason to finally go. Megara saved Hercules and sacrificed herself, not only for true love but to save everyone! Jasmine may have fallen in love with Aladdin, but she saved him as much as he saved her. Remember Kida and all she had to endure. Remember Belle, who was smart and ambitious and so ahead of her time. It's not wrong for Snow White to dream of finding true love. She grew up never knowing what it was like to be loved at all! OF COURSE she would dream of someone who accepted her and treated her well!

So yes. Let’s teach girls that family relationships are important. Let’s teach them how to work hard to get where they want to go. Let’s teach them how to save themselves, how to believe in themselves, and how to stand up for what they believe is right. Let’s remind them that they are “not a prize to be won.” But let’s also help them understand that asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness and that falling in love isn’t pathetic or shameful. True, they don’t NEED a man. But if they happen to find someone who makes them happy and treats them better than they’ve ever been treated, that’s great too! Its not a sign of weakness. It’s just another beautiful part of their story.

I get tired of people interjecting their own WRONG thoughts onto those who are asexual. "So you're a virgin?" No! Most asexuals are not virgins! And some asexuals enjoy sex! Action does not equal attraction. "But you can't want sex if you're asexual." Mmmm but you can? People have sex for other reasons than for the fact that they're sexually attracted to someone! Pleasure, physical closeness, etc. "Isn't that just abstinence?" Abstinence is a choice! "Were you traumatized at a young age?" Most asexuals weren't! And even if they were, it's not anyone's business but theirs. my GOSH I get tired of explaining this to people around me. Rant over.

Not really? It's just one of those side things,

and I watched Z1 because I had disney on as background noise in college so I watched z2 when it came on bc of that and Pearce Joza.

I just hadn't watched z3 because I didn't get to watch it when it came on because we don't have a dvr and how much overtime I've been getting.

I just wanted to rewatch z1 and z2 before I watched 3.

I mean I like them it's just a silly little side interest for me.

The only potential headcanon is Wyatt being bi?

but that's also bc I headcanon most characters as bi because of how much I like poly relastionships and everyone dating each other/polyfidelity type of poly relationships.

And because everyone is bisexual and autistic around here!

Okay… I’m separating this into two asks because there’s one point I want to address/ask more bluntly… So this is kinda Part 1 of an ask, but still a separate ask

Anyways, I guess starting with the Lab rats is forgotten thing. I didn’t mean like, truly forgotten. It defiantly isn’t. I agree. There’s a whole retrospective someone did in the last year that has over 4 million views? People REMEMBER the show. But are they still in the fandom?

Short answer: for most people, no. Many people have moved on from Lab rats due to no new content for years. The mass majority of people move on from most things (save for a few very special cases) as new stuff comes out. New stuff to engage with, new stuff to fall in love with. So the number of people in a fandom for a show that’s from years ago, with no new content since- it dwindles to (almost) forgotteness. I mean, you yourself called Lab Rats a small fandom (I think?) so I guess long story short- when I said forgotten, I just meant really small (really really small when compared to the number of people on earth)

And that small fandom means… Well, regardless of what characters you ship for or write about or whatever- it won’t get a lot of engagement anyways. Again, regardless of who you are. There’s not a lot of people in the pool that would read lab rats fanfiction anymore anyways. (Again, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t write for it. But expecting engagement, regardless of what it is… Wishful thinking).

But anyways, like, okay. The way you talk, and from what I see, it also doesn’t sound like you are truly alone. And I’m not talking about work stuff. Like you have some people around, and I think you should acknowledge them (one person I noticed was liking and commenting on our ask interaction… Don’t forgot about them and their feelings)

Which brings up the feelings thing…. even though it was a late point. I mean, yeah, we all care about our feelings. That much is true. But truthfully, we care most about our own feelings, and then the feelings of people we call ‘loved ones.’ (Family, friends, etc). There’s billions of people on this earth- we don’t all have time to care about every single one to the same extent (everyone deserves equal treatment and rights, and politeness, but we don’t owe people much past that because we do need to take care of ourselves. We should each be our own number 1 priority. Not even out of selfishness, but just mental health and wellness. Take care of yourself before you take on the world’s problems otherwise everyone suffers).

A small fandom means that we shouldn’t hate or bully people for dumb things or for having different headcanons or try to bury the history of the fandom.

Leaving kudos on a fic says nothing to the author about why you like the fic, it’s too easy to just hit the kudos/like button/favourite the fic and run.

Having people doesn’t mean that I get comments or my fics or fic requests.

There’s new content for it but my fics still get no interaction. Not even my crackship of Donald with Leo from mech -x4.

Being lonely is only fun in a group.
